Beryl Brown

I have lived in Great Ashby with my family since 2003. I am a primary school teacher and have worked with children in schools across Hertfordshire for many years, including voluntary positions locally.

Great Ashby is an ideal location for people of all ages and has much to offer. I personally appreciate the balance Great Ashby has between town amenities and rural life. Our proximity to open countryside and the wildlife that generates, is one thing I especially enjoy. Tsible and probable development of more homes adjoining Great Ashby and the potential issues this imposes on our environment, infrastructure and community life is one aspect I aim to better understand as a councillor and help to ameliorate, if possible.

I look forward to supporting new and existing GACC projects which help protect or improve the local environment, and enrich the lives of residents in our community.
